PSV draw Arsenal in the group stage of the Europa League

PSV will face Arsenal, Bodo/Glimt and FC Zurich in the group stage of the Europa League. The Europa League starts on September 8. The program will be announced later.

The biggest name in the PSV group is clearly Arsenal. The English club has a rich history but is rebuilding. Last season it narrowly missed out on Champions League football but this season it is still clear in the Premier League. With the PSV – Arsenal poster, thoughts quickly go back to the diptych in 2007. Then, thanks to a goal from Alex, PSV managed to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League at the expense of the Londoners.

Bodo/Glimt is an unknown club for many people, but the Norwegian team is a dangerous outsider. It was quarterfinalist in the Conference League last season. The round where PSV also stranded.

FC Zurich is the champion of Switzerland. On paper, this is the weakest opponent in the group. After 13 seasons, the Swiss surprisingly won the championship at the expense of FC Basel.

The Europa League will be played on the following match days: September 8, September 15, October 6, October 13, October 27 and November 3. When PSV will play against which team will be announced later.
