PSV confirmed the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooij on Wednesday. The former top striker will succeed Roger Schmidt as head coach of the Eindhoven team from next season. Van Nistelrooij has signed a contract for three seasons at the Philips Stadium and will be assisted by Fred Rutten.
