Paris Saint-Germain generated record revenues of 837 million euros last season. As the club announced, €175 million of this came from revenue on match days. According to the AP news agency, the numbers refer to the men’s and women’s soccer teams as well as the handball and judo teams.
The French top club not only won the Champions League last season, but also the Ligue 1 championship title as well as the Coupe de France and the Trophée des Champions. PSG also stated that the proportion of wage costs has fallen further in comparison. While this was once 111 percent of revenue, it is now less than 65 percent. The association sees this as a positive signal to the French and European regulatory authorities.
