Most valuable free transfer deal
Apparently there is an end in sight in the exchange poker for Kylian Mbappé. As the “mark” reported, the most valuable footballer in the world with a market value of 160 million euros – “if everything goes according to plan for both sides” – should come to an agreement with Real Madrid next week. With the transfer, the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain center forward would easily replace his current team-mate Lionel Messi (34) as the most valuable free transfer in history.

Most recently, Mbappé, who has long been Real’s priority on the transfer market, postponed a decision because of the direct duel in the Champions League. Now that his team has been eliminated, there is no longer any reason to wait any longer.
PSG blocked Real Madrid’s request for Mbappé in the summer & hoped for an extension
In October, the attacker revealed that he would have liked to join the Madrilenians in the summer – but PSG blocked the deal. Sums of 170 million to 200 million euros were mentioned in the media as a transfer fee, but according to PSG sports director Leonardo, Real probably didn’t offer that much. “I asked to leave because from the moment I didn’t want to extend, I wanted the club to receive a transfer fee to get a quality replacement,” Mbappé told RMC at the time. Despite a likely departure, Paris had still hoped that Mbappé would extend.
Mbappé first came to Paris on loan from AS Monaco in 2017, a year later he was committed for 145 million euros and thus ranked second behind record holder Neymar (30) among the most expensive players in football history. Since then he has scored 157 goals (78 assists) in 206 games and has been the capital club’s top scorer for the past four seasons.
