On Friday, April 26, a performance is planned by Dionysos Now!, the polyphony ensemble of Tore Tom Denys, and Tsar B. They will perform the hymn ‘Laus tibi Sacra Rubens’, composed by the Roeselare composer Adriaen Willaert in honor of the Holy Blood Chapel. Bruges.
For the first time, visitors can walk around freely in the Provincial Court during the festival. There they can become acquainted with exhibitions by Dries Depoorter, but also by university students from Vives and Howest. There are workshops and a musical theater performance for secondary school students.
Since 2020, the Provincial Court has been undergoing a thorough restoration, renovation and redesign. Work on the outer shell of the building was completed at the beginning of 2022. The interior restoration is now being finalized.
