Closing the Stora Enso de Hoop paper factory in Eerbeek has far too many consequences for the village and the surrounding area. That is the message of the province of Gelderland and the municipality of Brummen. In a letter to the factory’s Finnish parent company, they request that De Hoop not be closed. “It surprised us and deeply disappointed us.”
