Last Tuesday, two men were killed in a head-on collision on the N36 near Sibculo. A truck ended up on the wrong side of the road, two oncoming vans were unable to avoid it. Christiaan van Goor (34) from Enschede and Henri Salome (50) from Hengelo (O) thus became the seventh and eighth fatalities on that road in five years.
