Protests continue in Peru after president’s impeachment, army seizes infrastructure

Peru’s armed forces are taking control of key infrastructure such as airports and hydroelectric power stations to protect them as long as protests continue in the country, Defense Minister Alberto Otarola said. The army will also assist the police in maintaining order.
