The demonstration took place on Friday evening and counted about 500 participants. Several police cars were set on fire. Protests also broke out in the Swedish capital of Stockholm, as did Malmö and Landskrona. Stones were thrown in the capital.
The reason for the protests is a Scandinavian well-known far-right activist who is known for Koran burnings. The Swedish authorities have given the man permission to participate in some planned demonstrations.
