D.(32), who was not present at the ruling of the court in Dordrecht, killed the victim with brute force in the home of a customer in Hoogvliet on December 24 last year. Investigators found more than two hundred knife wounds on Danny’s body.
According to the suspect, the victim’s death was preceded by a violent argument. Both she and victim Danny, who had asked her to come to his home, were under the influence of drink and drugs. The suspect stated that she had to defend herself against attacks from Danny with violence.
The judge rejected that reading. According to the court, the investigations have not shown that the suspect was attacked. The court further ruled that several details of the suspect’s statement are contradictory.
