In 2020, another jury had found guilty guilty of raping Mann and the assault of Miriam Haley. He was sentenced to 23 years old, but the conviction was reversed last year.

In a statement to American media, Mann responded to developments in the case. “I will ensure that my voice – and the truth – is heard. I have said that I am willing and able to endure this as often as needs to get justice. Today is not the end of my struggle,” Mann wrote Variety.
