Prosecutors in Turin are investigating the Pogba case

The public prosecutor’s office in Turin has launched investigations into the extortion of French world champion Paul Pogba.

The investigation began after the Juventus player filed a complaint with the police on July 16, Gazzetta dello Sport reported.

In mid-July, three French people reported to the Juve training center in Turin and wanted to speak to Pogba. They were denied access to the training camp. After consultations with his lawyer, Pogba decided to file a blackmail complaint in Turin.

The 29-year-old made it public last weekend that he was being blackmailed. His brother Mathias released a video on Saturday announcing “explosive” revelations about his younger brother Paul.

The midfielder returned to Juventus on a free transfer after six years at Manchester United. Pogba is currently out with a meniscus injury.
