Prömel leaves Union Berlin at the end of the season, move to Hoffenheim – rbb – regional

This special time left a deep impression on me and will be remembered forever” Prömel is quoted as saying about his farewell on the club’s website.

Another regular player leaves Union

In addition to Marvin Friedrich (after Gladbach) and Max Kruse (after Wolfsburg), Grischa Prömel is already the third regular player who will leave Köpenicker in 2022. Prömel will have good memories of his time at Union, he emphasized: “Above all, the feeling of community, the mood and atmosphere make the club something unique. I would like to thank all my teammates, the coaches and supervisors, all employees and fans for the best time of my career so far. But until I say goodbye there’s still a lot to do and I’ll give everything to end this season successfully together with all Unionern”, explained Grischa Prömel further.

Already under Nagelsmann at Hoffenheim

In the summer of 2017, the then 22-year-old moved from Karlsruher SC to the Alte Försterei and has since played five seasons for the Irons. After 129 games, 16 goals and ten assists, the 2016 Olympic silver medalist from Rio de Janeiro is leaving Köpenicker in the summer and moving to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim after the end of the season, where he was German A youth champion under Julian Nagelsmann in 2014.
