Profit Epaillard at Jumping Amsterdam, Vrieling best Dutchman

Julien Epaillard won Jumping Amsterdam with his horse Donatello d’Auge. Jur Vrieling was the best Dutchman in the Amsterdam RAI. He finished sixth.

There were eight combinations of man and horse that rode flawlessly. They made it to the jump-off (fewer obstacles than the original course). Among those eight duos, Vrieling and his horse Fiumicino were the only Dutchman. The 53-year-old rider went for a fast time, but a mistake limited his chances of overall victory.

The Swiss Edouard Schmitz came second with horse Quno and the podium was completed with the Brazilian Yuri Mansur and Vitiki.
