Professor Wim Voermans admits wrong after dismissal accusation Raisa Blommestijn: ‘A misunderstanding’

Leiden professor Wim Voermans admits that he incorrectly said on social media that legal philosopher Raisa Blommestijn had been fired from Leiden University. That turns out not to be true. ‘As I have recently understood, that statement was based on a misunderstanding,’ says the professor of constitutional and administrative law in a corrigendum. Blommestijn is considering a civil procedure. “I’m glad he put it right, but the damage has already been done.”
