The women of the German Hockey Association (DHB) lost to the British in Mönchengladbach 3:4 (2:1). Then the DHB men lost 0:1 (0:1) against the English in Gladbach’s SparkassenPark, for whom Nicholas Bandurak scored to win.
On Thursday, the teams from both countries will meet a second time at the same place as part of the FIH World League.
