Istanbul – The detained mayor Ekrem Imamoglu of the Turkish city of Istanbul has been chosen as a candidate from the Center -left party CHP in the Turkish presidential elections of 2028. In the symbolic pre -election, the result of which was already established, 1.6 of the 1.7 million party members voted on Imamoglu. The Istanbul town hall reports this.
