The Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet reported on Tuesday that King Charles Kustaa will undergo heart surgery on Monday, February 20.
Kaarle Kustaa’s heart surgery is performed under observation.
Crown Princess Victoria says during her visit to Australia that she is not worried about her father’s future surgery.
– Unfortunately, that surgery has to happen sometime. Personally, I am very confident because my father is in good hands. I am also very grateful for the help you can get in Sweden, Princess Victoria tells the news agency TT.

The king is said to be doing well at the moment.
– He will perform his duties until the day of the operation, the court was told earlier.
The King’s sick leave lasts at least until March 3, which is why scheduled meetings and official duties are postponed until later in the spring.
Due to privacy protection, Hovi is not going to comment further on the reasons for the heart operation. However, the procedure is carefully planned, and it is not said to be the cause of a sudden illness.
