Princess Leonore, the first child of Princess Madeleine and Christopher O’Neill, celebrates her 9th birthday today.
Madeleine has posted about her daughter photo on Instagramwhich may arouse envy.
The picture was taken in a warm landscape, possibly near the family’s home in Florida, where there is no frost.
Leonore is dressed in a light summer short sleeve and shorts.
Leonore is therefore the eldest of the children in the family, and she has two younger siblings; Prince Nicolas and Princess Adrienne.
The children have lived practically all their lives in Florida, the family usually goes to Sweden during the summer holidays and around Christmas.
Madeleine’s father, King Kaarle Kustaa, decided in the fall of 2019 that Leonore and her siblings no longer have rights belonging to the royal family and that they will not participate in court representation duties.
Unlike in Denmark, where Queen Margareeta made a similar decision, Madeleine and her family were not ruined by the decision.
