This year, the British court has celebrated the first Easter without the Queen, who died in September Elizabeth.
Sorrow and longing have been present during the gathering of the saints. Easter Sunday also marks the anniversary of Prince Philip’s death. He died two years ago.
Despite the change of power, Easter traditions have been kept and the royal family has gathered together Charles’s leading to Windsor Castle.

The blue color seemed to be popular among the three royal generations, as Charles, Camilla, Catherine, the male members of the family, and the little princes and princesses all wore blue.
Louis walked into the church in his blue knee breeches holding his mother’s hand. Charlotte, on the other hand, held her father’s hand.

Family together
The service was also attended by the family’s black sheep, Prince Andrew, who was embroiled in a sex scandal and lost his royal duties. She walked into the church alongside her sister, Prince Anne.

Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, also attended church services with their spouses.
Prince Edward and his spouse, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, also entered the church.
Mike and Zara Tindall had brought their eldest children with them, Mian and Lena. Zara is Princess Anne’s daughter.
The place of worship was particularly touching this year, as Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip are buried in St. George’s Chapel.

Towards the coronation
Despite the royalty, the British court also has quite “ordinary” Easter things going on. For example, it has been said that William will organize an Easter egg hunt for his children this year – in the past, the organization of the hunt has been in Catherine’s hands.
This year, however, Catherine will take more responsibility for the larger patterns of the Easter arrangements in Windsor.
Easter will be the last time the entire royal family gets together before Charles’ coronation in May.
