“A suitcase ended up in my garden. It looked like it came from heaven,” Cressida Bonas begins her new column in The Spectator. “Not long after that, two police officers knocked on my door. Confused, I invited them in and they quickly went to get the suitcase. Erin There was a lot of money, drugs and keys to expensive cars. They asked if those items were mine. ‘Certainly not,’ I replied.”
That evening the officers came back again. “I was then interrogated for an hour,” said Cressida, who was in a relationship with Britain’s Prince Harry from 2012 to 2014. “Drug deals happen regularly in our street. They happen very quickly: a hand out of a car window, heads bowed and voices whispering.”
