Prince Harry spoke about King Charles’ illness on a US television show.
Prince Harry gave a television interview on Friday in the US Good Morning America – in the morning program. The section has been published on the program’s official website on the X account.
In the broadcast, Harry publicly commented on his father’s illness for the first time. King with Charles was recently diagnosed with cancer.
Harry says that he heard about his father’s illness directly from the king himself.
Harry traveled to Britain to see his father as soon as he heard of his cancer diagnosis. Harry only stayed on the ground for about a day, the meeting between the two lasted about half an hour.

The program host Will Reeve asked the prince, among other things, about his mood after the trip to London.
– I love my family. I’m grateful that I was able to jump on a plane and spend any amount of time with him, Harry says on TV.
The prince does not comment further on Charles’ health.
– I’ll keep it between me and him, Harry replies to Reeve.
When Harry is asked if Charles’ diagnosis could have a unifying effect on the family, the prince replies:
– Yes surely.

Harry then referred to his charity project. The Invictus Games is a sports competition organized for war veterans. The organization Harry founded is for soldiers wounded in the war and their families after a traumatic experience.
– I believe that any illness or disease brings families together, Harry says in his interview.
American citizenship?
Reeve also asks Harry about his family life. Harry and the Duchess With Meghan is a 4-year-old boy prince Archie and 2-year-old daughter princess Lilibets.
– The children are doing well. They grow very fast. They both have a great sense of humor. I am very grateful to be a father.
Harry also says that he thoroughly enjoys living in the United States. Harry says he doesn’t consider himself American yet, but has considered becoming a US citizen. Harry and Meghan moved to the United States in 2020.
– The thought has crossed my mind, but it is not my priority at the moment, Harry commented on the question of American citizenship.

Harry and Meghan are currently in Canada preparing for the 2025 Invictus Games. Good Morning America the film crew follows Harry and Meghan on their journey. According to the New York Post, the program will later feature a segment focusing on the sports competition.
