Prince Daniel revealed to Iltalehti why he arrived in Finland at a different time than his wife Victoria

Crown Princess Victoria arrived in Finland a day earlier than her husband Prince Daniel.

Crown Princess Victoria46, and the prince Daniel, 50, arrived at different times for their visit to Finland. Victoria already started her visit on Wednesday, September 20 in Espoo at the Hanasaari cultural center, while Daniel joined his wife only today, September 21, in Suomenlinna.

When the couple visited Loviisa, Iltalehti asked Daniel where the prince was on Wednesday, when he was not with his wife in Espoo. Victoria was amused by the question and began to laugh. Daniel answered the question with a slight smile.

– I was on another business trip, Daniel said.

The Crown Princess also confirmed to Iltalehti that they plan to return to their home in Sweden this evening. Waiting for the couple at home are their two children: the princess Estelle11, and the prince Oscar7.

On Thursday, the Crown Princess couple visited Suomenlinna in Helsinki, the Hanken University of Economics, the Loviisa market and the Fazer visitor center in Vantaa together. At every destination, there were many people cheering for the royal couple.

During their visit, the royal couple could, among other things, taste Fazer’s blue chocolate bar, dedicate the square on Kuningattarenranta as Victoria Square and hear about the history of Suomenlinna. You can read all about the events of the two-day visit here.
