Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla showed their support for Ukraine

Brittihovi has shown his support for Ukraine in the middle of the war.

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla met with the Ukrainians this week and showed their support to them in the middle of the war. The royal couple visited the Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral in London on Wednesday.

Charles and Camilla listened to a song performed by the children and then lit candles. Camilla was seen quite moved at the representation. He is also said to have hugged the Ukrainian ambassador Vadym Prystaikon wife and said she would pray for them.

Charles gave an impromptu speech at the event. He said he and Camilla are deeply touched by everything they have heard during the visit. Above all, they were moved by the exceptional courage, helpfulness and perseverance of the Ukrainians.

“Our thoughts and prayers, however inadequate, are on the side of you all during this difficult time,” Charles said.

Prince Charles condemned Russia’s attack on Ukraine in a speech on Tuesday.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi on Tuesday thanked the British royals for their support.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine had previously said they would support Ukraine with their official Twitter account. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan also gave their statements on the 24th of February. They said they were on the side of the Ukrainian people.
