Prime Minister Rutte will visit Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, September 26. The visit focuses on the broad relations between the Netherlands and the UAE and cooperation in the field of energy transition.
In Abu Dhabi, the Prime Minister will be received by the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. In the run-up to the COP28 climate conference, which will take place in Dubai in the autumn, they will discuss, among other things, climate and the energy transition.
At the Anwar-Gargash Academy, Prime Minister Rutte will discuss geopolitical developments, climate and energy with students. The Prime Minister will also attend a meeting with companies from the Netherlands and the UAE, where an agreement will be signed on cooperation in the field of water management. Minister Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi for Foreign Trade is also present.
