On Monday 3 and Tuesday 4 July, Prime Minister Rutte will visit Serbia and Kosovo together with Luxembourg Prime Minister Bettel. The visit provides an opportunity to discuss the tensions between Serbia and Kosovo and the importance of de-escalation and commitment to the EU-led dialogue to normalize relations.

The visit starts Monday afternoon July 3 in Belgrade, Serbia. Here Prime Minister Rutte and Prime Minister Bettel will meet with President Vučić, where they will discuss the latest developments in the region, the war in Ukraine and migration. They are also received by Prime Minister Brnabić. In addition, a meeting with Serbian NGOs in the field of press freedom and LGBTIQ+ is scheduled in Belgrade.

On Tuesday 4 July, Prime Minister Rutte and Prime Minister Bettel will be in Pristina, Kosovo. They are received here by President Osmani-Sadriu. They also have a meeting with Prime Minister Kurti, where they discuss, among other things, the latest developments in the region and the war in Ukraine. The visit will conclude with a talk with representatives of Kosovar NGOs in the field of press freedom and LGBTIQ+.
