Prime Minister Rutte will open the Freedom Museum in Groesbeek on Wednesday 5 July 2023. Together with Minister Liminski for European Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Prime Minister performs the official opening act.
The new museum building has been open to the public since September 1, 2019, but the official opening ceremony has not taken place before due to the corona pandemic.
The Freedom Museum tells the story of War and Freedom without Borders from different perspectives, building a bridge between the 20th century and the present.
