Prime Minister Rutte, together with Minister Hoekstra of Foreign Affairs and Minister Ollongren of Defense, will participate in the NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, which will take place on 11 and 12 July.
On Tuesday 11 July, Prime Minister Rutte will participate in the public forum of NATO under the title ‘Standing Up For Our Values: Ensuring Continued Support to Ukraineand then to the North Atlantic Council (NAC). In the evening he attends a dinner hosted by the Lithuanian president Nausėda.
On Wednesday 12 July, the Prime Minister will participate in a working session involving various NATO partners, such as Australia, Japan, New Zealand and South Korea. He will take part in a meeting of NATO allies with Ukraine later in the day.
During the summit, Minister Ollongren will participate in a panel session on NATO’s Strategic Concept and an informal working session with defense ministers. Minister Hoekstra attends a meeting of foreign ministers and the High Representative of the EU.
