Prime Minister De Croo commemorates bus disaster in Sierre: “We will not let go of each other”

Today, Sierre commemorates the bus disaster that killed 28 people ten years ago in 2012. On the way home from snow classes in Anniviers, Switzerland, a bus carrying Flemish schoolchildren was killed in a collision in the Sierretunnel. In his speech, Prime Minister Alexander De Croo (Open Vld), who traveled to Sierre for the memorial ceremony, pointed to the pain of the relatives, the memories of the victims and the solidarity of the Belgians. He also thanked the Swiss aid workers.
