Prime Minister Costa heads for a surprisingly big win in Portuguese elections, the radical right is steaming up

For a moment he seemed to be threatened in his power, but the social-democratic PS of Prime Minister António Costa won the parliamentary elections in Portugal on Sunday, it seems convincingly. According to the exit poll, Costa’s party gets 37 to 42 percent of the vote. This means that an absolute majority is even possible in the Portuguese electoral system.
