The Giallorossi babies overtake the bianconeri with goals from Tripi and Vicario and are waiting to know the opponent (between Inter and Cagliari) of the last act of the championship
For a whole year, Roma Primavera never gave up on first place. And he also made it valid in the first match from inside or outside: in Sassuolo, with the 2-0 at Juventus, the Giallorossi are the first finalist and on Tuesday (played at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia at 20.30) they await the winner of Inter -Cagliari, scheduled for tomorrow at 17 always at Ricci. As happened in the Youth League, however, Juventus’ race ends in the semifinals, which had passed the first playoff round by beating Atalanta with a goal in the final minutes of Cerri.
TRIPI ADVANTAGE
–
Roma, under the gaze of Tiago Pinto on his return from the triumph in the Conference League, lined up as always with the 3-4-1-2, with Volpato behind Satriano and Cherubini; the ex Lazio Bonatti, on the other hand, relied on Hasa and Chibozo, a 4-4-2 disguised as a 4-2-4 given the front-wheel drive on the flanks by Mulazzi and Iling. Juventus started strong but without breaking through: after one chance each for Cherubini and Hasa, an episode was needed to unlock the game, and it arrived in the first of two minutes of injury time. Captain Tripi mocked Senko, guilty on the free kick of the number 5 of having taken a step towards the center of the goal. Tripi, on the other hand, aimed at the goalkeeper’s post and found the advantage.
DOUBLE VICAR
–
After five minutes of the restart, the game could have taken a different turn: the crossbar, on the other hand, rejected Nzouango’s safe shot, with the ball bouncing a few centimeters on this side of the goal line. Then the first changes: Tahirovic for Cherubini in Roma, Sekularac and Turco for Muharemovic and Bonetti in Juve. Fatigue has also come: to dominate the defense of Rome. a super Ndiaye, even if it was another defender, the Spanish Vicario, who put the stamp on the semifinal. Much of the credit still goes to Tripi, who served Padula a ball kicked towards Senko’s goal: the Hungarian goalkeeper’s rejection was an assist for Vicario, who pushed the 2-0 ball into the goal. Bonatti tried the two moves of desperation, with Rouhi and Strijdonck for Turicchia and a tired Chibozo (previously Cerri had also entered), but after a chance for Strijdonck, Roma also touched the trio with Tahirovic’s free kick.
