The organization of the Pride party on the Amstelveld says it has been proven right during a provisional provision. The party could therefore last until midnight. The municipality had earlier brought the closing time to 8 p.m., but that decision would have been swept aside.
Organizer Eelko Anceaux is satisfied. “A huge boost for Pride, for the lhbtqi+ community and friends, and for us as the organizer of perhaps the most beautiful square party in Pride. We are very happy! Spread the wordspread the word and come party on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 August.”

Stopping the party earlier was a decision of alderman Touria Meliani (Art & Culture). She previously announced completely about the party to want offbut decided as a compromise to to make it last less this year.
The judge’s ruling has not yet been published, it will probably happen next week.
