Prevent FC Volendam crisis: “If you lose three in a row, that’s not good”

Damon Mirani’s 1-1 in the 95th minute against ADO Den Haag meant much more than one point. This was evident from the explosion of joy for the profession with accompanying fans. After hefty defeats against Excelsior and FC Emmen, the captain prevented FC Volendam from ending up in a crisis. And even though the goal came in the final seconds, Mirani hadn’t despaired.

On paper, ADO Den Haag – FC Volendam was a winner. The atmospheric actions in advance with music and fireworks promised a lot, but nothing came of it in the first half. Both teams failed to get dangerous. After the break, ADO pushed on and that opened the game.
