On Friday they attended a reception organized in honor of the king, on Saturday they were at Westminster Abbey for the main ceremony of the coronation itself.
On Saturday afternoon, Niinistö tweeted about the coronation atmosphere in English:
– It was an honor to participate in the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla in London.
– On behalf of all of Finland, we wish His Majesty a long and meritorious reign.
