President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan continues his contacts in Athens within the scope of the 5th meeting of the Turkey-Greece High Level Cooperation Council.
During his visit to Greece, President Erdoğan also met with Panathinaikos Head Coach Ergin Ataman and chatted for a while.

Panathinaikos Basketball Team Head Coach Ergin Ataman said that they met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Athens, the capital of Greece, and talked about Turkish-Greek friendship, competition in sports and the development of basketball.
Ataman met with President Erdoğan, who visited the Athens Embassy in Greece, where he came for the fifth meeting of the Turkey-Greece High Level Cooperation Council.
In his statement about the meeting, the experienced head coach said, “We chatted with Mr. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for a while. We had a very enjoyable conversation about Turkish-Greek friendship, competition in sports and the development of Turkish basketball. I was happy to meet with him.” he said.
Ataman denied the allegations on social media that he said to President Erdoğan, “I came to Panathinaikos so that he could beat Fenerbahçe again” during the meeting, and said, “It is a complete lie.
