In his speech after the funeral prayer, President Erdoğan stated that they sent off the people who are currently in trouble to God, saying, “May my Lord forgive their negligence. May he rest in peace. May he grant patience to the grieving families he left behind. as it is written, ‘Every soul will taste death, and from God we come and to God we will go.’ That’s why we need to prepare for the world as if it will die at any moment, as if it will never die.” used the phrases.
Noting that they lost Fethiye Gümüşdağ unexpectedly, Erdoğan said, “Today, we bid farewell to our brothers as well. Maybe their relatives did not expect such a thing, but death does not go forward or back in a moment. As soon as he comes, our Lord takes his trust and we send him off to God as we are here.” he said.
After his speech, Erdoğan asked the congregation three times, “Are you halal?” she asked. Upon the congregation’s words “We are halal,” Erdogan said, “May my Lord make their place a paradise.” said.
President Erdoğan said, “We ate a lot of our Fethiye sister’s pies. She used to make good pies. Occasionally, she would send them to this child of Tayyip. May she give us justice. May my Lord bring us together under the banner of her beloved habibi with the name of livaül hamd.” he said.
President Erdoğan shouldered Gümüşdağ’s coffin after the funeral prayer. The body was taken to Beşiktaş Etiler Ulus Cemetery for burial.
