According to the statement made by the Presidency of Communications, it was the first state visit of President Tokayev to Turkey after taking office.
WELCOME TO OFFICIAL CEREMONY
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan welcomed his Kazakh counterpart Tokayev at the main entrance of the Presidential Complex. In the welcoming ceremony, the national anthems of the two countries were played, accompanied by 21 guns. Tokayev greeted the parade guard by saying “Hello, soldier”. Presenting their delegations to each other, Erdoğan and Tokayev had a souvenir photo taken in front of the Turkish and Kazakhstan flags on the stairs.
