Never work with children or animals, is the well-known slogan in showbiz. But if you take part in the coronation procession, the latter is hard to avoid. As many as 4,000 soldiers took part in the procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace, many of them on horseback. And they didn’t always behave perfectly: one of the animals panicked so much that it reared, crashed through the nadar fences and fell into the audience. Fortunately, as far as we know, no one was injured.
