The National Football Team has completed the second day of preparations for the 2024 European Championship qualifying match against Croatia on October 12. The Crescent-Stars, who spent the day with double training under the management of coach Vincenzo Montella, will move from Istanbul to Osijek, where the match will be played, tomorrow.
The morning training of the National Football Team was carried out in two groups, starting at 10.30, and both groups took the field after tactical preparation accompanied by video footage. After the warm-up exercises, tactical exercises were carried out on the field. In the second training, which started at 17.00 in the evening, after the tactical preparation accompanied by video footage, we moved to the field, and after the warm-up section, which witnessed joyful moments on the field, tactical exercises and a match were held following the 5-on-2 training.
While Orkun Kökçü, who could not take part in yesterday’s training due to a slight injury, and Rıdvan Yılmaz, who joined the camp yesterday evening due to his travel schedule, took part in today’s training, Yusuf Sarı, who is still injured, did not participate in the training.
While TFF Board Member Responsible for National Teams Hamit Altıntop followed the training of the Crescent-Stars team this evening, national football player Cengiz Ünder also visited the camp and watched the training.
The National Football Team will continue its preparations for the Croatia match with a training session closed to the press tomorrow at 10.30. The national team will go to Osijek, Croatia from Istanbul Airport at 15.00.
