Premiums in Europe: STOXX 50 starts in the profit zone

Over the course of the day, the STOXX 50 rose to 4,295.00 points. However, the stock market barometer marked its lowest level at 4,278.98 points.

Since the beginning of the week, the STOXX 50 has already fallen by 0.264 percent. Just a month ago, on February 1st, 2024, the STOXX 50 was at 4,203.77 points. Three months ago, on December 1st, 2023, the STOXX 50 was at 4,019.73 points. A year ago, on March 1, 2023, the STOXX 50 price was 3,867.48 points.

For 2024, the index has already gained 4.91 percent. The STOXX 50 reached its highest value this year at 4,317.04 points. The annual low, however, was registered at 4,010.21 points.

The strongest individual stocks in the STOXX 50 currently include Mercedes-Benz Group (ex Daimler) (+ 1.21 percent to EUR 74.53), SAP SE (+ 0.93 percent to EUR 174.48), BP (+ 0, 92 percent to GBP 4.65), BAT (+ 0.85 percent to GBP 23.65) and Nestlé (+ 0.82 percent to CHF 92.51). Meanwhile, the losers in the STOXX 50 are RELX (-0.61 percent to 34.40 GBP), DHL Group (ex Deutsche Post) (-0.48 percent to 42.71 EUR), GSK (-0.47 percent to 16 .57 GBP), Munich Reinsurance Company (+ 0.02 percent to EUR 430.50) and Allianz (+ 0.18 percent to EUR 254.30).
