Arsenal dominated from the start without initially developing any real goal threat. The team of referees denied Trossard’s supposed opening goal because of a previous foul play (26′).

Haaland sets a record

Argentinian world champion Julian Alvarez (15th), ex-Bundesliga star Erling Haaland (29th), Phil Foden (45th) and Chris Mepham (51st) with an own goal decided the game in favor of the team around national player Ilkay Gündogan, Jefferson Lerma (83rd) operated result cosmetics.
