Star coach Pep Guardiola is linked with a departure from Premier League heavyweight Manchester City in his Catalan homeland.
The online newspaper “El Nacional” speculates that Guardiola could be a candidate to take over Brazil’s national team next summer.
Carlo Ancelotti was previously considered the Selecao’s designated coach. Recently, however, there have been reports that the 64-year-old Italian may still be at Real Madrid for another season or more.
In this case, according to “El Nacional”, Guardiola could become the focus of the Brazilian Football Association. However, there are said to have been no discussions between the parties yet.
This is not the first time that the 52-year-old former FC Bayern trainer has been traded to the five-time world champions.
At the beginning of 2023 it was said that Guardiola had rejected a concrete offer from Sugar Loaf and that he absolutely wanted to win the Champions League again with Man City. He then achieved the feat in the spring. The Brazilians may now have a better chance of convincing him to get involved.

“I feel comfortable here. I have everything I need to do my job as well as possible,” he said at the time.
