Michael van Gerwen had three more play evenings to throw himself at the top-4, for the Play-Offs (final rounds) of the Premier League on 29 May in the O2 Arena in London. On ‘Night 14’ he immediately met Luke Humphries in his home base in his first game. Because of losing competitors, ‘Mighty Mike’ knew that he could take a big step, but he immediately flew out: 6-4.
