Liverpool FC have extended the contract with attacker Diogo Jota.
As the soccer cup winner announced, the 25-year-old signed a new “long-term” working paper, but nothing was known about the exact duration of the contract. The Portuguese international switched from Wolverhampton Wanderers to the club coached by Jürgen Klopp in September 2020 within the Premier League.
Jota impressed from the start at Anfield. He scored a goal for Liverpool in his first game against Arsenal. Last season he struck 21 times in all competitions for the Reds, with whom he won the FA Cup and League Cup and finished second in the English Championship and Champions League.
