Setback for Manchester United
Disappointed Manchester United players after losing to Everton FC
The “Red Devils” from Manchester had previously lost 0-1 (0-1) to the relegation-threatened team from Everton. Anthony Gordon scored the only goal of the game after a deflected shot in the 27th minute. For coach Frank Lampard’s team, who had lost five of their six games recently, there were three important points in the fight against relegation.
Rangnick’s team offensive too harmless
There was not enough of Ralf Rangnick’s star ensemble around Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba throughout the game. With ten minutes remaining, Pogba tried a long-range shot that Everton keeper Jordan Pickford was just able to hold on to. Otherwise, the offensive efforts were very manageable. As seventh in the table, the record English champions are getting closer and closer with qualifying for the European Cup.
