Not convincing, but successful – the German national soccer player Kai Havertz celebrates the perfect start to the season with Arsenal in the English Premier League.
After the opening win against Nottingham Forest (2-1), the Gunners with Havertz in the starting XI also won 1-0 (0-0) at Crystal Palace on Monday evening.
A penalty kick by captain Martin Odegaard in the 53rd minute gave Arsenal victory at Selhurst Park. Havertz played unobtrusively in attack and, after the controversial yellow-red card against his team-mate Takehiro Tomiyasu (67th), was also required to defend.
