The neighborhood playground association Troapel will hold the preliminary round for the Dutch Championship curbs on Wednesday 24 August.
“This day there are 2 golden tickets to be earned for the national final in the open-air museum in Arnhem on Sunday 18 September,” says board member Rolina Vos. „One gold ticket for a child in the age category 6 to 10 years and a silver ticket for the accompanying person. You may not be older than 10 years on the final day.
And one gold ticket for a child in the age category 11 to 14 years and a silver ticket for the accompanying person. You may not be older than 14 on the final day.”
Curbing six children at once
“The preliminary round will be held in the playground at Robert Kochstraat/Röntgenstraat,” continues Rolina. “The festivities start at 11 a.m. The children are treated to drinks and a snack. We have received three sets of kerbys (plastic curbs) with balls from Jantje Beton, so six children can use curbs at the same time.”
