Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner thought other things were more important than his voice.

Playboy model Crystal Hefner, 37, says her husband Hugh Hefner used so much of the erectile dysfunction drug Viagra that he eventually lost hearing in one ear. Crystal reveals in a recent interview that Hugh valued other things more important than sound.
– Hef always said he’d rather be deaf and able to have sex. Strange, Crystal wonders.
He has openly told the public about the rough sides of the Playboy mansion. Now Crystal states that Hugh’s beliefs about himself made the women really uncomfortable.
– In Hefi’s thoughts, he himself was still in his forties and all those evenings, the mansion and the people there reinforced this image. He still felt like he was in full swing.
Crystal met Hugh Hefner when she was 21 years old and before long the woman moved into the Playboy mansion. The move and the resulting relationship led to marriage in 2012. At that time, Crystal was 26 years old and Hugh was 86 years old.
The reason Crystal agreed to move into the mansion was because she finally felt like she belonged somewhere and that she mattered. Soon the imaginations were shattered and the harsh truth was revealed.
– Everything sort of dawned. Everyone kissed the 80-year-old man, he states.
Crystal sees the fact that Hugh had a relationship with 18-year-old twins as problematic in particular. In addition, Hugh created competition between women, which caused pressure and bad relations with others. Crystal felt she had no friends.
At the same time, Hugh became more demanding towards Crystal. Crystal was not allowed to live her life, but was completely dependent on her husband’s decisions. He had a curfew, and he wasn’t allowed to go anywhere alone. Although life had become limited, Crystal could not leave.
– Towards the end, I felt that I couldn’t leave him. I had to take care of him, Crystal explains why she didn’t leave the relationship.

Hugh Hefner died at the age of 91 in 2017. The man’s last request to Crystal was that she only tell good things about him.
– I kept that promise for the last five years, but after therapy and recovery, I’ve realized that I have to be honest about the time I spent in the mansion, Crystal said in an interview she gave earlier this year.
