Go to the Sitges Festival without a ticket
One of the most important national cinephile events has returned: the Sitges Festival, international fantastic film festival. One more year, the festival is dressing its billboard with complementary free activities, such as the screening of short films in Plaza Catalunya (October 7 and 14), or the mythical Zombie Walk (October 8).
Egyptian night with mummies included
Halloween isn’t here yet, but there are already mummy sightings. Those of the Egyptian Museum of Barcelona (València, 284), at least, that Friday, the 7th, it opens its doors to citizens in a new edition of the free friday night. There will be guided tours and surprises for attendees, such as a mummification workshop.
Concerts with the Mediterranean in the background
come back the Maremagnum Festwith three concerts with the smell of the sea: the former Natalia Lacunzawhose latest work ‘There must be something else’ is a pop delight, the singer-songwriter xicuand the ‘dreampop’ band Ganges. The scariest weeks of the year
It’s autumn: it smells of chestnuts, sweet potatoes… and scares. To celebrate the imminent Day of the Dead, Galeries Maldà (Pi, 5) organizes, every Friday, starting at 7:00 p.m., an evening with mariachis, costumes, zombies, and a large altar to the dead that, as ‘Coco’ taught us, is a fundamental element to celebrate Halloween Mexican.

Classical music on the street
After filling the Sant Pius X parish (Cardenal Tedeschini, 52), the L’Auditori band continues with its itinerant and free concerts throughout Barcelona.
