Het Huus van de Taol has made a fourth season of the Drenthe-language podcast Praot Drents Met Mij in collaboration with RTV Drenthe.
In this podcast, director of the Huus van de Taol Renate Snoeijing talks to well-known Drenthes about the role that the Drenthe language plays in their lives. Entrepreneur Henri Offerein is a guest in this episode.
“We don’t have the same parka and it’s ok not to cycle for a month, I can get that Youp-van-t-Hek stuff.” Undernimmer Henri Offerein discovers the Netherlands from a different angle since he takes an electric bicycle and occasionally pours it on with the woman.
Rude and drunk
“My grandmother always called me quarrelsome and drunk.” When Offerein grew up, we didn’t talk about ADHD yet, but he had to walk around the block a couple of times every evening to calm down. “I already have a creepy foul energy and saying mu’k, there’s still something in it.”
Drenthe talking

catering industry
“It’s a different branch of sport. But it’s both nutrition.” At some point Offerein rolled into the catering industry. Purely because a number of things were missing in ‘t Hogeveine, such as an ice cream parlor and a schnitzel restaurant. They no longer have them, but now they have a major project as Paviljoen Nijstad next to see supermarkets.
Job bus
Offerein have their own handy bus these days. And during the construction of the pavilion, he was just as busy as a construction worker. “I think it’s so beautiful! No nagging on the head, just nice and then out of the telephone.”
